백성을 다스리는 선왕은 하늘이 내려준다고 했습니다.

The king who governs the people is a gift from heaven.

그 한 몸 백성을 위해

and the one body is only for the people

한 평생 더하지도 과하지도 않는 자신의 신분으로

to the posture which regularly does not overflow

인류의 본보기를 남기고 엘리자베스 여왕은 갔습니다.

Queen Elizabeth has gone, leaving an example of mankind.

일천 사백년 전 통일신라의 선덕여왕처럼

Like the Sundeok Queen of Unified Silla 1.400 years ago

오로지 백성의 안녕을 위하고

for the good of the people

오로지 튼튼한 국정의 번영을 위하여

Only for the prosperity of a strong state

아름답게 찬란한 역사를 남겼습니다.

It has a beautiful and brilliant history.

이역만리 대한민국의 금수강산을 칭송하며

Praising the beautiful mountain of the Korean Peninsula
